"Space Engineers. I know I’ve previously poked fun at the sheer number of indie games involving space in a couple articles, but calling your game Space Engineers is sort of like calling an action movie Gunshoot McActionman’s Explosive Quest to Cause Explosions. It doesn’t really leave a whole lot of room for interpretation. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, mind you. As someone who loves space (thus why I write a lot of articles about games involving space) and really loves games that allow the player to build whole worlds and destroy them at a whim, Space Engineers piqued my interest purely from the title. So how does the game’s content compare to its title?"

Neil writes: "When Space Engineers launched on Xbox back in 2020, it provided players the chance to head to space, working a sandbox arena to the nth degree - engineering, exploring, constructing and surviving in space. Since that time a host of addition DLC packs have enhanced the base game, bringing new ideas and features. And that's where we are today with the arrival of the Space Engineers: Warfare 1 Field Engineer DLC."
Space Engineers Crossplay for PC and Xbox has arrived in a new update that also brings improvements to mod support on both platforms.
