'Minecraft: PS3 Edition' 1.02 patch released to fix chat and audio issues

XMNR: 4J Studios released a new patch Saturday for Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition to fix lingering bugs since the game was released earlier in the week for the PS3. Unfortunately, it's not quite rolled out to everyone worldwide yet.

its okay except for the weird audio problem i experienced previous to the patch. On both the 360 version and ps3 i have played 3 player in the tutorial mission thing and its sooo much smoother on the ps3; theres been no framedrops or anything.

Huh? Been playing the crap out of minecraft on Xbox 360 and never had framerate drops.

Not to say it isn't good on consoles, because I can't, only played it on PC. But if your going to buy it, do your self a favour and get it on PC, there's so much more stuff to choose from with mods and stuff. It added many many more hours worth of play time, Classic gets old real fast.

the only reason i got it on consoles was because it wasn't available on steam for whatever reason.
My first encounter with minecraft was actually kind of funny. I randomly say a youtube video and commented saying that it looks silly and i couldn't imagine myself playing it and someone replied saying that i should try it out. I did and then my brothers called it stupid for about a week and then tried it out and play constantly primitively destroying my stuff while i lace their buildings with tnt lol(ohh and the full circle thing happened a few time with friends too)

Once you have the vanilla MC itch it can be hard to shake.

I have the Android, iOS, Xbox360, PS3 and PC versions of Minecraft and use them in different ways at different times. The consoles definitely take the prize for simple play around a big TV. For everything else the PC gets updated faster and is prettier. And i have a server running.. The mobile version has moved in leaps lately and has nice redraw distances. Graphically better than the console versions at the moment but that'll change once the PS4 and X1 versions appear.

Having the wife and kid just be able to grab controllers and drop in is a good selling point for the PS3/60 versions.

I wish they would announce release dates for next-gen versions. I love me some Minecraft as it's a good game thats completely different and good to go to for a break from everything else.

Played the PS3 version today, it's really awesome playing it with buddies in local coop. can't wait to get it for my PS4 when it comes out!

Me and the boy play the 360 version all the time, he had me download it for the pc and we were in awe of the mods and texture packs that made it look better......for about 3 days....went back to 360, just seems easier or something..

its great on PS3 I've played countless hours on 360. all i can say is, i can't wait for the PS4, X1 release!

I was going to buy this for PS3 the other day but didn't because of it being $20. I'll buy it at some point (I have the Pocket Edition, PC Edition and have played many hours on 360 as well) but $20 is twice the cost of the 360 version.

The only thing about MC ps3 thats sucks compared to MC pc is that, pc has a lot more to offer including frame rate drops and lots of other bugs. I only have a pc and ps3 so i have never played it on xbox, but ive heard that it is good. If u need someone to play survival with on PS3, send me a friend request. My names packmeal.

Bit late reaction but why theres no online servers and why do snow golems dissapear randomly and why can animals glitch through fences, most important why does splitscreen require hdmi a nice screen and more players ha e nothing to do with eachother.
