Dream Pinball 3D is pretty average, as far as video pinball games go. There is a decent variety of tables and the physics are admissible. But nothing is particularly creative or inspired. These tables won't be sparking a new pinball revolution, and only super fans will find this to be a must-have. If that's you, definitely give this a look over the Wii version.

Nine Over Ten writes: "I love pinball games, and back during the heydays of shareware, Epic Pinball was one of the main stays in my "big" (back then) 420 MB harddrive. But I wonder whatever happened to that shareware distributor, I remember subscribing to their newsletter (which was more like a huge listing of shareware stuff) on Computer Shopper Malaysia magazine but that was many donkey years ago. They gave out shareware diskettes through that magazine as well, if I remember correctly."
Gamertell has posted a review of the 3D game Dream Pinball for the DS. The writer gives the game a so-so rating due to graphics that interfere with following the ball, lining up flippers, "[d]izzying camera, poor use of dual screens and lack of alternate flipper controls."
Otherwise, the game does offer "[g]ood sound effects, fairly nice audio, odd material balls and fun themes." The critic also points out that the $20 price tags makes this a bit more affordable than most DS games, especially those with wireless multiplayer features.
CheatCC writes: "Dream Pinball 3D is an attempt to bring fantasy and adventure back to the old-school arcade game. "
