Gamer completes GTA IV 360 in 17 mins 15 secs?

According to the Rockstar Social Club's '100% Club' - which lists everyone who's completed the game, obviously - a certain ninjaraiden2003 has completed GTA IV on the Xbox 360 in 17 minutes and 15 seconds.

Now with all those stories circulating the web about cheating, the question has to be asked: Is this some kind of workaround or simply an anomaly on Rockstar's part?

I played for one hour... and got bored. The game is the best one yet, but still fails to entertain me.

But I have to admit, I wish my real-time RPGs looked this good and had such a rich and detailed enviroment. (and such a LARGE enviroment at that)

One hour. Com on. GTAIV takes at least 5 hours before the real action begins. The first 3-4 hours is about leaning the different skill you need in the game.

He probably completed most of the before the game was launched (illegal torrent) or just set the time back. Either way it's impossible. This isn't Super Mario where you can jump to the end level through portals

it must be a glitch, there are more than 17 missions, so he would have had to complete each one in under 1min, unlikely. Either he cheated or its a mistake by Rockstar

Wow you are a true hero to us all. It must have been so fun to skip all the cutscenes and side missions and just quickly whip through each mission so fast just to say you did it. You should give yourself a big pat on the back, cause your a symbol to us all.

Even 17 hours I wouldn't believe it as the game takes 56 hours to complete with 7 hours of cutscenes in total. He must have found the magic flutes.

that's the point it says he beat 100 percent. so he would had to have beat every mission, side missions included.

he obviously got the game prelaunch.

it does say he beat it for the 360. i knew 2 people who had the game on the 25th because they have hacked systems.
that doesn't happen on the ps3.

Well anyone who wanted to be No.1 to finish the game fastest needn't bother now, Thats a plus for the PS3 version, why buy the 360 version and feel stupid you can never live up to even coming close to completion by the ridiculous 17 min mark lol.
