When Microsoft initially showed off the Xbox One, many users balked at its footprint and cheered its cloud-related gaming features. They also flocked to messages boards and comments to learn about what Microsoft calls the Xbox One Dashboard. The Xbox One Dashboard is the layer of software that users interact with the most. It’s the Xbox Dashboard that opens entertainment apps and games. Many of these users commented on how stark and impersonal the Xbox One Dashboard is. Thankfully there are few software customizations users can enable to make the Xbox One feel more like it’s theirs. Here’s how to customize the Xbox One.

The pre-load for Activision and Iron Galaxy's Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now available, and the download size has been revealed.
I wish they’d do a proper switch 2 update for Tony Hawk 1+2 me and my 7 year old daughter love playing it in split screen and it plays great but it looks absolutely terrible. I would say it looks like the resolution drops down to about 540p in order to keep the framerate up.
The Ace Combat series celebrates its 30th anniversary, and Bandai Namco revealed interesting initiatives, on top of a poignant message.
That controller looks like a cheap knockoff... it should have been a proper DS5 design.
Can we get a new Ace Combat, with full vr and not just three or four levels, for PS5 and PSVR2
Also if we could get a remake of my all time favorite, Ace Combat5: The Unsung War, again with full vr for every mission with DualSense and flight stick haptics.
I just want them to remaster AC4 and AC5, a new AC with better more realistic looking world and planes would be great too
Currently, more customization than PS4, but sadly, not nearly enough for true customization. AT LEAST LET US USE PICTURES IN THE BACKGROUND!
Thats for Sony as well.
never understood the huge desire to customise the home screen... how long do people spend on the home screen that it matters that much?
I think the X1's UI is pretty slick. Now on the other hand, the PS4 needs some help. I can say that, cause it's my opinion, and I own both consoles.
Thats it, colors and pins? Hope they add more features such as backgrounds and themes in the near future. While they are at it how about more options to customize profiles. Unlike the 360 there is no option to add a motto or bio to your profile, adding a little personality to it.
Kinda sucks actually... I purchased some pretty sweet themes for my 360, but unfortunately I can't use them on the X1. You would think a simple picture in the background wouldn't be too difficult for MS to include. Not a deal breaker by any means... but it would be a nice feature.
