Game Guys review - Peggle 2

It appears Peggle Fever is spreading again.

Debuting in 2007, Peggle was a big hit for studio PopCap Games (Bejeweled, Plants vs. Zombies). The concept was simple: knock out all the orange pegs by firing a series of tiny balls. Between the cleverly designed levels and ball physics that required precise shots by players, Peggle is arguably one of the most entertaining puzzle games ever.

Now, PopCap's franchise is reborn in Peggle 2, a more colorful, challenging and charming puzzle game for the Xbox One.

The story is too old to be commented.

These casual games are hugely important to X1's success. This the gulf game, Xbox fitness, Zuma fitness, Dance games and Kinect sports, are the things that will give families the most enjoyment of this $500 gift.

Mom's can buy the Xbox and know that everyone in the home can find a use for it. The sweet part is, they just walk up to it "Xbox on" and their profile is loaded. Hand the controller to the next person, or they can just say "Xbox show my stuff" and start playing their game. People who think this is not a selling point for X1 are in serious denial.

Because of these features, I can see M$ becoming the console of choose in NA, and anywhere where the features are fully supported.

Peggle 2 is timed exclusive, but at this time of the year it is a big deal.

No local co-op means no buy, how does that make it a perfect game?
