Doki-Doki Universe (out today for PlayStation 4, PS3, and PS Vita) is a little like Scribblenauts — both creative and original — only indie developer HumaNature Studios doesn’t want you to use your smarts. It does want you to feel good, though … even if that means suffering through a lot of awkward hugs and personality tests as meaningful as the dozens you’ve probably taken on the Internet.
Assetto Corsa and Darksiders: Warmastered Edition headline PlayStation Now's European June update.
Doki Doki Universe really fills a gap of character driven simple fun that fits wonderfully on the Vita. If you are in the mood for something different and want to visit a candyland type planet and a toxic wasteland planet where a pile of poop is a character then pick up Doki-Doki for a great time.
The first week of every month, Short Pause breaks down the games offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Every week after that, they focus on one platform and discuss their experiences with just those games. This week, the Vita gets a spin.
The author writes about how neither Doki-Doki Universe, nor Muramasa Rebirth struck a chord with him, but he appreciates aspects of both. Will he continue playing them? Well...
Muramasa Rebith is awesome. Play it some more and try out the DLCs. Doki-Doki sucks though.
I wasn't tempted to launch Muramasa Rebirth the first time but ever since I launched I'm playing it non stop like crazy! I got Momohime and Kisuke both at lvl 99. But I want more so I'll get the DLCs.
I also never played this kind of game before but I like it so much that I want to get Dragon's Crown.
I never knew what was up with that game.
After reading the review, I'm still not sure.
Was looking forward to this game, hope it's the reviewer and not the game.
@Wita, no it says absolutely nothing about the quality of a game because the reviewer is bored with it. What is boring to one person may not be to another person. I saw the movie Transfomers and was so bored I actually fell asleep during the movie. That doesn't mean the movie itself was boring, but rather it failed to hold MY interest. Giving a game that has no mechanical flaws a failing game because in the reviewers opinion it is "boring" is borderline irresponsible. I especially love the section of the review where she TELLS ME what I won't like! What I don't like are broken games that I can't play because of mechanical flaws and bugs.
