As the ‘next generation’ of consoles is finally upon us, many gamers are going to be looking to upgrade parts of their home entertainment system to match their ultra powerful gaming system. Given that many headsets are seeing compatibility issues with the PS4, consumers are looking for something that was designed with the new platforms in mind. Normally, a few select console gaming brands come to the fore when it comes top of the line console headsets, but a prominent name from the PC world is making some big waves and fighting for the top spot. - PSLS
This looks great. From the makers of Arctis, the most awarded audio line in gaming, SteelSeries, the original esports brand that fuses gaming and culture, today introduces the special-edition Dragon Arctis Nova 7 series headset.
Looks like another winner for SteelSeries. From the makers of Arctis, the most awarded audio line in gaming, SteelSeries, the original esports brand that fuses gaming and culture, today introduces the special-edition Arctis Nova 7 white collection. Elite performance comes standard.

Audeze Maxwell are the best. The 90mm Planar magnets create a much better soundstage.
I love my arctis 7+. Great sound, ergonomics, and long lasting battery. Steel series is a great brand for headphones I'd recommend.
I'll continue sticking with my A50S until they, inevitably, break. Then I'll see what's on the market.
Annoys me so much that a $299.99 headset is £299.99
If you are going to pay that much for a standalone headset out of the box, you might as well go with the A50's, or the 2013 A40's for $50 cheaper.
They still seem to be the best on the market at the moment.
I have the a50's and the pulse elites from sony but i recently picked up the pdp afterglows from best buy for my ps4. they sound pretty damn good, got tired of waiting for the update/patch to use my elites. 100 bucks cheaper than those steel series but they only go up to 5.1
I just got some Trittons Pro+ for 150€ (199€ in game) and they work pretty well. I'm still trying to get used to configuring the speakers though since the headphones have 4 in each side.
I'm using the Turtlebeach PX4 headphones and there full wireless for sound and will be for chat when the Bluetooth update comes out. My PX4's sounds amazing and I only paid $150 for them, are these really worth $150 more? They look nice but the mic looks kind of cheap!
