EA Won't Work On New Battlefield 4 DLC Until Flawed Game Is Fixed

It's ridiculous that they released a completely broken game in the first place. This announcement doesn't help the situation that EA needs to stop rushing out games.

I spoke with a representative from EA about the issues we are all having. He responded by suggesting some troubleshooting tips. I told him that it's not my setup, it's on the server side. He said he understood where I was coming from and that he would be upset too.

I wanted a refund but all he could do was give me a %15 discount code to the origin store for my inconvenience. My next call is to DICE.

This is the worst launch of any game I've ever witnessed. The game is just broken. FFXIV had a better launch. There problems were only because way too many people were logging on at the same time. At least they have a functional game. GTA V had a better launch as well. BF4 has been out for over a month. %15 discount doesn't cover my inconvenience.

It's like they got a hammer and nail, pinned their foot to the ground and aimed a shotgun at it. I would put money on them knowing this game wasn't ready for release at all.

This screw up has put me off buying any future installments in the series.

I'm enjoying the game immensely... that being said, this is my first Battlefield game, and I've never owned a CoD game either.

Glitch wise, my campaign saves were lost twice as I was getting a feel for how to play the game.

Multi-Player though has worked great for me except sound(and my death curb, which is improving as am I)...that was until the China Rising was added... I couldn't get into Conquest, and would end up in Obliteration or Deathmatch. Before that though, I was having no problem entering conquest matches.

I can understand the frustration, especially if someone was a long time player of the series.

Fixing what has been released before releasing/developing more makes sense though, from a customer point of view especially.

Dice and EA will make a lot of money anyway at this point.

I'm looking forward to the game being stable for everyone, then I know that it's what it is supposed to be, as I can't compare it to anything personally.

It is quite an exciting game though I must say. I never thought I could play a game and die so much, and yet still have that much fun.

I have even found myself clapping for another player, once it's disclosed where they got me from. A good time for sure.

All the same, I hope the issues are resolved soon, as I would like to meet on the Battlefield yet again someday PsylentKiller.

Early adopters suffer through the growing pains of every new gadget and electronic device, be them video games, cell phones, or consoles.

It is the major reason I am going to hang back in the wings before I buy a new console or a video game at launch.

With all the problems I have had, considering I just picked it up for PS4 on monday 12/2; it is like playing a 60$ beta- this game was clearly not ready to launch. EA was in too much of a hurry- however, I will say this is an amazing game when it works.

Pretty good move, oddly enough it's the first time I've seen one like this and this certainly is not the only game where such a move should have been made.

As a big BF player here are my main issues:
1- Reg is out of bound, you can see the splatter of blood but no hit being registered.
2- Regular player drop off. Being in an helicopter and just start nose diving after half the server was kicked out for no reason isn't very "fun".
3- Grenade marker no disappearing after the grenade actually exploded.
4- Constant both man killing each other. I mean, like 50% of the time.
5- ECM jammer doesn't work on anything.
6- Getting stuck on the "revive" screen, need to quit the game.
7- MASSIVE textures issues sometimes.

Paying for a broken game, paying to play broken game online via console subscription, paying for internet to play broken game on paid for subscription service to play broken game. When I type it out the only thing I see as a positive is the internet service. Waking up is hard to do sometimes.

For those who own/played NFS Rivals for PS4 is the game as glitchy/buggy as BF4 is? Is it worth buying or not?
