Half-Life 3 Confirmed (According to Steamworld Dig)

GG3 picks up on the latest news, while playing some games. During the review process for the Steam version of Steamworld Dig, something quite peculiar is picked up.

Seems like the devs are trolling

One does not simply confirm Half-Life 3

And news posters are clutching at straws. Nothing to see here.

i fear half life 3 is going to be a major disappointment... primarily due to the level of hype on it

True, but I remember a lot of similar comments surrounding HL2.

The main problem (having recently replaying HL) is the mechanics of the game are soooo hideously old fashioned that to not update them would be terrible but at the same time they still need to keep the HL feel or it will be a disaster, if they had of released 3 in a timely manner and not trolled the fans this would not have been a problem.

Valve can GTFO as far as I am concerned regarding HL, I am so pissed at them for leaving us on that cliff hanger for YEARS!!!

Because you obviously know how they should make their game. Look I'm sure Valve knows what to do to keep gameplay fresh in their newest game.

Besides, it has only been 6 years since their last half-life game, going on 7, it's not as bad as you think. Half-Life 2 was released 6 years after the first and it was still well received.

If a game like Portal 2 is any indication, then that means they still got the talent, because that was an amazing game. To top it all off, it was still made with the Source engine.

"Ok, we admit it’s getting really late and the contents of this article aren’t to be held with any seriousness, but we had a right old chuckle."

Cheers, sadly no chuckle.

Whaaaa!? I didn't believe the other 30 confirmations of Half Life 3, but THIS one... It's just GOTTA be true! /s

So tired of hearing about HL3. People need to just stop with the pointless speculation and straw grasping until Valve releases a freaking teaser.

Thunderful Has Four New SteamWorld Games in Development

From IGN: "Thunderful Games has four separate SteamWorld games in development with three expected to launch next year.

The company revealed during its latest financial results that SteamWorld Headhunter - a third person action adventure that was revealed in November - is just one of four different genres the SteamWorld franchise is exploring. It is expected to launch in 2023, along with two others.

Those two, codenamed 'Strawberry' and 'Coffee', will be followed in 2024 by 'Caramel'. Are all listed as "SteamWorld IP" games, with Strawberry and Coffee actually listed before Headhunter in Thunderful's development timeline."
