Crypt of the NecroDancer is a roguelike developed by Brace Yourself Game that interestingly combines elements of the RPG and Rhythm genres. Gameplay is nowhere near traditional. Instead of using the well-thought-out moves of a tactical role playing experience, this game is centered around musical cues, and requires you to move, act and deliver beat downs according to the beat of the music. The reason for this is that your character’s heart has received a strong, throbbing pulse from some mysterious dude in the dungeon and therefore it’s beating hard like a drum.
