The current Fallout 4 release rumors stretch credibility to the breaking point. Fake trademarks, hoax websites and the never-ending Boston rumors are not to be believed. If Fallout 4 reveal is happening it'll happen at the VGX awards on Saturday.
A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.
Starfield and Fallout 4 developer Nate Purkeypile reflects on Bethesda's city design, calling it the "antithesis" of the studio's older games
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.
GB: "Gamers have quickly realized that a fun open-world game isn’t just about size and scope but rather how you interact with it."
Well the thesurvivor2299 website is fake but Fallout 4 is definitely happening. Honestly I don't really mind the website being fake. It gave us stuff to talk about and the Fallout subreddit certainly got a workout. Whomever did the website is clearly a fan and I think it did some good in stirring a little extra hype for Bethesda.
"Why would Bethesda set up a reveal on a website scheduled for four days after the most televised gaming event of the year?" Thats an odd conclusion to make. Personally I was thinking the Reveal would be at VGX and the official website would go live days later.
You have a lot of valid info, but the whole thing about the fake leaks and this parroting them seems a bit off. Those fake leaks mentioned Boston because people had spotted Bethesda employees around Boston. We thought that Boston would be the setting way before that guy put that on Reddit.
I can't reveal much as my friend is a QA tester on the game and I have played an early build, but this game is going to shock and surprise. Very excited to see the first trailer.
Also, both under NDA so please don't PM me questions.
I think the website is legit, but it will go live after VGX. At VGX most probably people will see F4 teaser, and the trailer will be featured in the website.
