The corrupt save data bug is a huge annoyance, but you can retrieve your save data from PS+ cloud storage if you didn't start another game already.

I had gotten to the last chapter, and game crashed, save corrupted; went to Settings> Applicaton/Data Management> copy cloud storage to local storage, copy over your BF4 game save. Enjoy.

If you get the corrupt save popup in BF4 on PS4, don't click X to continue. Hold the P/S button, exit BF4, then shut down the PS4. Reboot the PS4, and restart BF4 and your old save should load normally. This has worked for me every time.

Great !! But please sort out the friend invite/ squad invite on the PS4 !!! I don't know if I'm missing something but where can you invite friends and then join a game as a team ?? It should be the simplest thing to do and only a couple of button presses and voila. But sadly not.

They removed that. It's basically you join a game with slots open, then your friend joins you and hopefully gets on your team and squad. (It's supposedly already going to put them on your team and in your squad, but I've yet to see that happen as it put my friend on the other team.) Really pathetic that they are actually touting this is a feature. They need to build a system like COD's party system. It just plain works.

Yeah, they took it out because it wasn't up to their standards, so they leave it to an even worse idea which is nothing at all lol.

They wanted to force feed us Battlelog. That's the only reason they removed such a simple feature. Now we have to rolled the DICE and hope we get a good server with slots open. What makes that part worse is they also removed the server pages. It's not so bad on PC with a mouse, but scrolling through every server on the list on console, just to find one with less players, is a pain in the ass. It's the same thing with checking the scoreboard in-game. It scrolls by itself, and to my knowledge you can't move it around.

KwietStorm - You should be able to join servers via battlelog for consoles as well. I've used it before through the browser as well as the website. The browser on Xbox One is kinda broken and shows full servers and have to scroll 3-4 pages before finding a server that has slots available, but at least you can see the ping you'd expect in game.

actually the way to do this is from with in the game. Once youre in a multiplayer game, you can pause and invite after that, you can also set your own squad as private so only people you invite come in. Took me forever to figure this $hit out but it works. Yes its very tedious compared to BF3, I hope they improve this, cause its 2006 all over again

How about when those "updates" never really address the core issues? This is the 2nd or 3rd update on PS4/PC and games are still crashing. You seem to enjoy buying unfinished games.

No, you seem to enjoy assuming. The game wasn't ready to be released. All of us know that by now. As I've already bought the game, there is nothing I can do about that. However, not every single bug can be fixed all at once. My game crashes MAYBE twice a week, where it was everyday when it was new. It's much better now, and I can at least play it without thinking its going to crash. Realistically, I play Battlefield up until the next one comes out, and since this one is still very new, I'm not proclaiming to throw everything out the window and NEVER BUY AN EA GAME AGAIN like some are doing. Yea it sucks that there are bugs. Every game has bugs. But too many people don't understand what goes into making software, then they want to make demands to those who do. I don't enjoy buying unfinished games, and I'm not giving anyone a free pass, but as I said, better to get updates than nothing at all.

Yes an update is better than nothing. I'm sorry, your "I have no problems getting an actual update" comment threw me off. Given the context of this discussion and the track record that EA has with their "updates", I don't see how NOT fixing the core issues at hand, while taking up precious HDD space wouldn't annoy people. I hope they can finally fix it as I crashed and lost all my SP progress, but I wont hold my breath on it. In the mean time, I'll be playing the crap out of Killzone.

I remember my friend buying battlefield 3 premium edition and waiting countless hours to DL all updtaes and maps in one shot. Every Update in BF3 was 1G+ very annoying

Have the same issue on the XB1. The game is literally unplayable for me. I get 5 maybe 10 minutes in and then booted to the screen with the rain, nothing else, and it's not moving. Completely frozen. I have to quit out and reload but sometimes I have to shut down my console to reset everything.

If you go under My Apps and Games, find Battlefield and hit the former start button (to the right of the White X). There should be an option to close the game. Saves you a reboot.

have you tried cold booting your xbox? It might be that it need to do a memory flush if you've kept your xbox on standby for too long

Whats sad is that DICE justified their reasoning about not having a party system. Like how to you take away such a basic and necessary feature and justify it. What blows my mind is that Halo 2 on XBOX and the Early iterations of COD and other games had a party system over 6 years ago. Come to present day and "next gen" and this feature is non existent in most console games. How does that happen? It literally boggles my mind. I have KZ shadow falls and whats even more crazy about that is that there isnt any in-game voice chat. How? Why? I thought this was next gen. We can now stream our gameplay and access our console from our cell phones, but in game chat and party systems are missing from games. There was a great quote, not exactly sure who its from. " The only thing that should surprise us is that we can still be surprised". Truth.

I tried downloading my saved stuff from cloud storage but nothing happened.

I dont get the 1 hit kill bug. you get shot in da dome your dead? but they 2 shots to kill you? in normal. This is why i play hardcore. its less b.s.I'm tired of ripping a whole clip in a dude only for him to turn around and kill me easy while i reload..normal mode sucks.

I would play hardcore only, but without the minimap it's renders a lot of game functions useless. Hopefully they will add custom servers like bf3 to sort out their crap defaults. Actually you know they will its EA we're talking about here and they will want to rape as much money as they can from your wallet, I'm surprised that the patches are free.

Basically the 1 hit kill bug is the damage from that one bullet was being applied multiple times, resulting in a one hit kill. So it could be a leg shot, resulting in death instantly which can be rage inducing considering if you're playing in core.

In hardcore, of course, one hit kills are pretty much the standard.

Yes they did it for ac 4 and cod ghost . But i m happy with bf4 in ps4 with those grafics near to ultra in pc and eyes cant see the different when thinks move in 60 fps
