Gamer Dies After Playing League of Legends for 23 Hours

Last year, Riot Games offered Taiwanese League of Legends players a 400% increase in Influence points rewarded to players who win or perform well in a game.

This isn't the first marathon related death but it's an interesting one.

I honestly don't know how one can sit in the same place for more than 5 hours. Even if I was playing FF XV, I'd still get the urge to just get up and do something else.

I can sometimes play a game for 6-7 hours, but at some point my brain naturally tells me to go do something else or take a break. It's instinct. Not sure why some people just don't have that instinct. :\

Damn, ive had 12 hour sessions of Skyrim with breaks...but 23 hours straight is crazy.

I'm actually surprised that there aren't more like these in the U.S. I am glad that it is not far or that expensive for someone wanting to compete. It IS hype.
