Pretendo: Exclusive Shin’en Interview

Pretendo: "Pretendo was lucky enough to snag an interview with Shin’en, the hardware masterminds behind eShop classics such as Jett Rocket, Nano Assault Neo, and now the upcoming Fast Racing Neo for Wii U. Mostly known for crafting beautiful-looking games by pushing hardware, over the years the small German-based indie studio has managed to successfully establish themselves a reputation among the Nintendo fanbase."

ones of my most lovable indie devs, they really can make pretty game graphics and solid gameplay.. I always support you Shinen...even if Nano Assault Neo for me has such an amazing graphics using only one core of CPU on Wii U, I just can't imagine how good Fast Racing Neo will look..they can do what even some AAA devs struggle to do.. Well done Shinen, like always..

P.S. Art of balance, nanostray 1 &2, Nano assault EX & Neo, Jett rocket 1 & 2 and some others are awesome :)

shin'en, you are too much.

You are the KING of hardware

A lot of it stems from their roots as Amiga demo coders. The demoscene has fed quite a few developers into the industry and they all see hungry to continue to exploit the hardware as best they can. If memory serves me right, aren't DICE the old Digital Illusions guys? They were originally an Amiga demo crew called The Silents, who went on to create the (fantastic) Pinball Dreams series back in the 90s.

This comment from the interview has me the most excited about what the WiiU is capable of in experienced hands... “FAST Racing Neo”, our next Wii U game, shows how far we were able to go on Wii U. We hope people will like what they see.” Great interview from such a small and talented team!
