"When it comes down to the nitty gritty, big games are all about what can make the most money."
MP1st - Should the next Battlefield game be Bad Company 3? MP1st weighs in on whether this is a good or bad thing or if a Bad Company 2 remaster would be better.
I would say hell yeah, but im not confident in modern DICE's ability to recreate what made the bad company series good.
Yes, it should be if they can creat a good story like they did in the first two and a good multiplayer and leave their SJW politics out of it.
I'd be happy if it was Battlefield 3. Kill all of that Live junk, and just go back to the basics.
PowerUp! - "A DICE developer claims that Battlefield 2018 is Battlefield Bad Company 3. Could it be true? It certainly seems possible."
On this final episode for 2017 Kiaun will discuss how many Nintendo Switch units were sold world wide, new characters coming to Street Fighter 5,BattleField Bad Company 3 releasing in 2018 possibly, when the Monster Hunter Beta will return,Nintendo Power is making a "comeback". This and much more in this episode.
I think games should be shown 1 year from their projected release date. However, sometimes I like the company's teasing us a little. Microsoft PR post E3 2017, may have benefited from the company announcing some titles slated for late 2018 or even 2019. That is assuming MS has several non-"big 3 titles" that aren't announced.
I understand the need for 'teasers' but too many times there have been teaser announcements that end up being canceled for reasons such as funding or studios losing development staff or just... the publisher didnt like how it was progressing.
They do these announcements to show the fans they have stuff coming but it really sucks when they announce stuff years ahead of when they should. Personally it should be 2 years prior to release is when they announce new project and then the following year they can showcase actual game play that people will be able to play as it gets closer to release. The projects could be in development for 3, 4 or 5+ years but don't announce anything until 2 years from release.
I think that is how Sony is doing it. Horizon had been in development for several years but wasnt announced until a couple years before release.
Ughhh....Bad Company 2 was so awesome, i would MUCH prefer a Bad Company 3 over a numbered BF game.
But it's EA we are talking about here.....'whatever teats are the fullest' is their philosophy.
Ive had enough of serious dude-bro shooters, gimme more humour and a campaign that doesn't imitate a Michael Bay movie.
Battlefield always felt refreshing somehow because it had many types of warfare (ww2,vietnam,sci-fi,modern day)and bad company games had personality with a less realistic tone kinda like call of duty games and i liked that to be honest.
If they make a Bad Company 3 please dont add a prone position that just kills the whole concept, the bad company games are supposed to feel more straight forward towards the action and less about tactics.

BC 2 was the best Battlefield created. It was amazing.
BF 4, on the ps4, is a disgrace. I will never buy another BF game.
