13 games? Is that all? Seems remarkably sparse. PS4 launched with almost twice that amount and the press are belabouring it for not having enough software.

The 11th hour Ryse embargo is rather telling of its quality too.

And to be clear, I'm not hating on the Xbox One for their game line up, there is just nothing there that makes want to go out and spend $500.00 to play, especially with Microsoft's current vision of next Gen gaming.

As far as Knack goes, I'm not hating on it either, it's just not the type of game I play so therefor I had no interest in dropping $60.00 on it something I wouldn't enjoy playing, launch title or not.

Outside of future Ryse and Forza reviews, it's comical to call the lot of mediocre exclusive Xbox One games available at launch "the best lineup". Look at it this way, 6 of your 8 exclusives reviewed so far are getting beaten in critical reception by a download-only twin-stick arcade shooter that has 5 levels and is cheap/free.

Ironically, I personally wouldn't touch the twin stick shooter with a single stick. It ain't my type of game, nor can I envision why a twin stick shooter is getting so much critical reception?

The problem is the future. Can Microsoft keep the exclusives coming in a regular basis? It didn't happen with the X360. X360 quality exclusives were few and quite sparse.

I never liked Dead Rising because of time limits. I never play racing Sims so I never will play Forza. I don't think Ryse has an main character that will match God Of Wars Kratos. I enjoy Knack, Killzone, and the downloaded games also on my PS4. I like to see what's next for Microsoft I'm looking forward to owning an Xbox One next year or so. I hope you all enjoy your games coming this Friday. Xbox One will be welcomed to the next generation. ^~^

Doesn't matter what the best launch line up is. 360 had the better one as well, with a lower price. That's why it sold so well. But PS3 continued to push out exclusives. Sony is in it for the long haul. Microsoft is sprinting out the gate, and will run out of gas with their price, and their games. Sony is steadily jogging along.

They were very few system selling exclusive that weren't made by Naughty Dog.

Infamous 1 & 2, Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain, God of War, Gran Turismo, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Ni No Kuni. Then ND titles, Uncharted and The Last of Us.

Compared to this:

Crackdown, Gears of War, Halo, Forza, Fable.

@mkis. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of the exclusives from Sony's first party studios and have a ps3 for that very reason but he does have a point about Japan being a big swing in Sony's favor. 20 million ps3's as opposed to 1 million 360's. That accounts for about 25% of all ps3's sold.

I understand on a video games website by and large their is little interest for things other than gaming.......with that said I for One am looking forward to not ONLY the games coming for Xbox but the functionality as well. This machine will capture hardcore and casual gamers alike. I have the ps4 with Killzone.......it's ok,scratch that it's pretty good. Does it make me think that there is a huge gap between ps3/360 in the graphics department? NO it does not.......it is better just not huge....in my opinion. Sony is going to have to do better than that to make me buy multiplat on there system.

It is quite alright, people are passionate about this stuff. Although it is true I can't really tell which part of my comment is getting disagrees.

Resogun (ps4) is an 83 on metacritic and Dead Rising 3 (Xbox One) is a 78. If you want to put stock into that there you go! Incidentally I find Knack to be an amazing launch title that was severely under-appreciated. Game informer score is more accurate.

And yes forza is like a new god of war or a new ratchet and clank...not really a risk easy scores. Would expect an 80-90 range.

I think each console has at least 2 exclusive games people really want. Though not all of them are getting 10/10 reviews people are enjoying the experience i bet. (reviews these days are very subjective anyway) Hopefully we get a few more games before christmas.
