IGN explains how you can easily use any existing gaming headset through PS4's Dualshock 4. Its not well publicized but it works. Use any standard gaming headset. Even Apple Earbuds.
Sweet, I can use my Sony Pulse Headset!
If its wired... as the article indicates then yes... otherwise stop trolling.
Pulse can be used either with the wireless dongle or wired, so he's not trolling.
do you even know what trolling means?
@TomahwkX @Vanfernal I stand corrected
I tried my Plantronics wireless on the PS3 and it recognised it by name and model in the audio settings and even picked up my mic but no sound through the earphone parts. Tried every setting option but won't play ball. It was wireless though. I hope they do more work on the 3rd party wireless part for wireless users.
This also works for any earphones too
i have turtle beach x12, I guess I can connect the green wire to the headset for sound, the usb into the ps4... BUT where do I plug in the pink wire( for speaking)?
My Astro A20's say thank you.
Sending the audio though bluetooth to the DS4 then out the audio port(3.5mm), A dream come true :P No need for silly adapters or having to spend extra on expensive branded ones!
It dose not work like that only some headset are compatible to the ps4 but there is going to be a update to support those people who use wired mic. I only no one headset that works it called plyr1 by skull candy
