Nintendo 3DS Hardware Family Sells Over 450,000 Units For October, 2013

Nintendo of America has just released a press release detailing the results of last months sales for the Nintendo 3DS family as well as some of it’s games.

The momentum is not going to stop anytime soon. Especially with Zelda coming next week. The reviews for that game have been nothing short of fantastic.

@lastofgen - I think you misinterpreted my comment. I meant to say the 3ds momentum is not going to stop anytime soon with Zelda coming next week. Because of the high scores people are going to snatch it up.

How's your zelda and lack luckster new mario game? Not as near as good as mario galaxy.Will see what the sells are compared to ps4 to proof my point. it so funny NINTENDO STILL FAILED WITH WIIU EVEN WHEN THEIR WHERE NO COMPETITORS A YEAR AGO...LOL.if nintendo really wanted to save their console they would have been had a zelda and not make brawl for 3DS and keep it exclusie to wiiu. Its like sony making thei new uncharted avadianle for vita...if they do that then theirs gonna be a big group of people not gonna buy it.This is why i think nintendo sees its failure this genrations an is just not wasting its efforts on besting sony and is just trying to save it from bein the biggest failure in nintendo history...

@Muffins1223 - lol @ your comment.. "lackluster" Mario game. Please wait until the reviews come in before you spout your mouth off. If IGN's leaked review is any indication to go by (9.6/10) I expect to see many high scores for Mario 3D World and universal praise and accolades.

3DS is an absolute monster. To think, at one point the front page of this site was filled with articles claiming the system was a failure. A certain agenda motivated message board even claimed it would be discontinued early and replaced by a dual stick revision. They made a similar claim about the original DS being replaced by a portable GameCube. Even IGN joined them in this libel.

Well, the more things change the more they remain the same.
