MSN NZ writes: There's something special about Sony's approach to the PlayStation 4. It has an alluring confidence that it's doing something special with its fourth home gaming console, and for all we know this may yet be the technology giant's greatest accomplishment.
Fascinatingly, what was once a three-horse race is now down to two, with Sony and Microsoft once again fighting for a place in the living room. Nintendo, again relegated to the place of "secondary" console, will look on curiously as the two giants fight it out.
What is now two will eventually become one, and if gaming superiority is the name of the game, the PlayStation 4 has the odds stacked in its favour.
