Gaming in the Military

Despite the increased popularity of video games over the last decade, the typical depiction of a gamer is still someone who lives in the dark depths of his parents' basement, spending all of his time playing games and shunning the outside world. The reality is that people from all walks of life play and enjoy video games, whether it's for the competitive aspect or as a means to decompress from the strains of day-to-day life.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in the armed forces of the United States military.

The story is too old to be commented.

As a member of the Air Force, I can relate to the "getting away from stress" Especially for the lower ranks who get told what to do all day at work it's nice to come home and just enjoy some game time. Gaming is a great escape from the real world.
