A few weeks ago SOE released a preview video of what DC Universe Online’s graphics will look like after game update 31 goes live, and now the company has issued a few new screenshots of the improved visuals. The screens are reportedly from the PC and PS3 version of DCUO, although the main reason for game update 31 is to amp up the game’s visuals for its PS4 release, so it’s curious that SOE didn’t release official PS4 screenshots. Regardless, DCUO will look much more crisp on any platform once game update 31 goes live this month. Head on down below to check out a handful of new screenshots for DCUO.

MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "
