I will be extremely dissapointed if the next char they unveil isnt a hadouken cab. Didnt Keighley say he was gonna announce some of the games, or tease games that were gonna be at the launch party?

Abriael2780d ago

He did, but only starting tomorrow. Today's talking only about blizzcon it seems.

majiebeast2780d ago (Edited 2780d ago )

Was surprised to see him doing the interviews at blizzcon, the pope gets around. I was expecting him to be surrounded by WoW coke cans.

and eats doritos :P

abzdine2780d ago

this is shaping to be the hottest launch event i have ever seen.

christrules00412780d ago (Edited 2780d ago )

Actually if you go onto twitter and search @geoffkeighley Christopher Brennan actually asked him if there will be unannounced ps4 games revealed at the ps4 all access event and he responded saying yes.

Street Fighter V is what I'm hoping for.

Abriael2780d ago

That's kind of unlikely I think Capcom has denied it's existance for a while too much, and not in the way they normally use to tell "we're just not telling you but it's there."

also, they haven't milked IV enough just yet.

HighResHero2780d ago (Edited 2780d ago )

[email protected] that last sentence.

I expect to see several more remakes of IV before they do anything so drastic.

@majie: "With the way Capcom is doing and the install base or lack there off on PS4/XBone its very unlikely. "

That might be why they're doing a "free" to play title also.

majiebeast2780d ago

With the way Capcom is doing and the install base or lack there off on PS4/XBone its very unlikely. Expect it 2-3 years from now.

Baka-akaB2780d ago (Edited 2780d ago )

It's not unlikely if Sony proposes to fund that are currently missing for SFV altogether . ANd quite frankly the ps was always more the home to fighting games , even if the SF4 was obivously a success on xbox .

However i doubt Sony would dare give that much money for a secure sale

majiebeast2780d ago

Well if it uses the panty raid engine and Sony does offer to cover some of the cost or take a lesser share of the software sales. I can see it happening not now but later. I would rather see them invest it in first party myself though.

pompombrum2780d ago

I think it could be a wise investment. Capcom have such a hold on the FGC that securing SF would practically mean securing the FGC.

If they made SF5 and went about it the right way, it could spark another growth the same way SF4 did, especially if they expand on the online stuff by adding spectator modes and such in a similar fashion as say LoL.

pompombrum2780d ago

That would be suicide to announce 5 with ultra just around the corner. No company would be stupid enough to do that.

It seems like everyone is heading to NYC, expect for me though :,(

majiebeast2780d ago

Maybe if you get a PS4 early and showed everything about it then get banned, Yosp would invite you to the launch party. Oh wait... Sorry guys false hope, Sony doesnt ban people for getting games/consoles early.

Rockefellow2780d ago

I will be a bit disappointed if it's just a port of the new SF4. I'll of course buy it on PS4 instead of an older system, but it's just a port of something that's already been kicking around for years now, and I'd really like to see them flex their developer muscles with a new fighting game/engine. We don't need more ports, do we?
