There is currently a rumor floating around the web that Sony Japan is working on a big AAA JRPG for PlayStation 4. This rumor hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but Sony did have a few exclusive JRPGs in the past mainly Arc the Lad, Wild Arms and Legend of Dragoon. LoD was one of the greatest moments of the PlayStation era, and I would love a remake!

Whoever gave a dislike doesn't have taste in games.

Studio-YaMi2577d ago

They would probably prefer mindless shooters that doesn't need much thinking at all,or one of those "don't wanna play those Japanese weird/girly/emo rpgs" guys.

Or maybe just miss-clicked the disagree button?

this right here is the best gaming news i've heard in a WHIIIIILE!!
At that time Squaresoft and ENIX were the two absolute kings of JRPGs and jap gamers were almost only playing games from these 2 companies. I decided to buy the US version of TLoD and it blew me away!!
A remake or a sequel Sony you can have my money from now!!!

Woah $16 million is a lot, especially in today's terms.

AnotherProGamer2577d ago

Was a great new IP at the time. Would love a remake ro a sequel. Heck, I'll settle for a prequel if they wanna go that route.

My Avatar says why.

BTW what was the last Dragoon form? Something like Divine Dragoon?

CryofSilence2577d ago (Edited 2577d ago )

That's correct.

"Divine dragoon cannon! WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

I swear I gain more and more respect for this guy every single day. He's just so open and likable, plus he's got certified creds in this industry.

Legend of Dragoon is one of my favorite games of all times. I was totally addicted to it when it first came out and I'll always hold a special spot for it. I had no idea he had any involvement in it until I just read this.

I bought it the minute it came out on the PSN in the PSone classics. I will always support this game and I REALLY (like really, really) hope they revive this game somehow, whether it be an HD remake, a reboot, a sequel or whatever, doesn't matter, I want it!!

Legend of Dragoon for the PS4

GarrusVakarian2577d ago

Actually, when talking in the past tense,"costed" is a perfectly viable word ;)

spartan_dx2577d ago

Cost would be more accurate in this case, costed is more like priced at or valued at in a listed manner.

Dasteru2577d ago (Edited 2577d ago )

Actually Cost is the correct word even in that context.
