Xbox One and Killer Instinct make a cameo on Grey's Anatomy

GameZone writes, "Not entirely sure who Microsoft was trying to cater to with this, but during last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy, the Xbox One and Killer Instinct make a short appearance. Although I realize that by writing this newspiece, I have successfully outed myself as a Grey's Anatomy fan. Guilty."

Poor product placement. Aside from the game they show nothing of the Xbox One. The idea is smart, since parents (the ones who watch this show) are likely the ones buying consoles for kids, but the execution is poor.

Yes because gamers or people interested in games are the most likely to watch Greys Anatomy....I think you'd have a better chance if Scrubs was still on to place it on there.

You did have that episode of Turk wanting to play on the 360 with someone since JD was with Kim so he got the Janitor to play it instead

All you see is a black box, which to a parent could be either PS3,Xbox 360, PS4 or Xbox one

No, what it shows is that MS has likely already made a deal with a network. We will see XB1 branding on that channel from here on, same happened with the XB360, although it was later in the cycle.

Go watch Castle, another ABC show, I've seen Nokia Lumias running Windows Phone 8 as well as Microsoft's Surface tablets. Product placement can be more effective than traditional commercials.

I've never played any of the Tycoon games, are they fun? Zoo Tycoon has caught my attention lately and I may pick it up after the New Year.

yeah i have once on a friends computer . it was quite cool. but this version takes the experience a bit further...you can use kinect to feed the animals , pet them and wash them..besides that you still get to manage the zoo..you can manage it with friends via xbx live and the level of customization here is simplified a bit but is still really cool...the more care you give the animals the healthier and happier they will be and you get more visitors..its a fun experience. there is quite a lot to do.

Thanks christocolus, I've been talking up my coming XB1 purchase to my nieces and nephews(they are mostly under 13) and realized recently that when they finally come over and ask to play, I may not have any suitable games for their age group.
