ZOMGPlay's Review of the 'Digital' version of Devil Survivor Overclocked.
"The Devil Survivor franchise hits European soil for the first time in Devil Survivor Overclocked, an extension and revamp of the original game. Released by Ghostlight earlier this year with a few teething problems, it was released on the eShop last month. So how does Persona’s lesser known, little brother hold up in the big world of strategy RPGs?"
Atlus’ latest eShop sale offers big savings on a stack of role playing classics.
Devil Survivor is a spinoff of the Shin Megami Tensei series that came to the DS two years combining RPG elements with turn-based tactical elements. This mix creates an interesting old-school mechanics who offered something new, adding a few touches of Pokémon to the mix, the combination was a success. For those who have not played the original, Atlus decided to create a version of the game on the 3DS, which not only includes a complete renovation, but also more aspects not included in the original version. With Devil Survivor 2 to be released in Japan and the European version scheduled for next year, the height is also ideal to launch this new version of the original.
"Devil Survivor Overclocked, an enhanced port of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor for Nintendo 3DS, will be available to download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop across Europe starting October 10 and priced at £29.99."
