IGN:The big idea behind the Mario Party games always made sense to me. The charming cast of Mario’s platform adventures and Waluigi -- who thankfully has never appeared in a core Mario game -- challenge each other to a board game face-off full of wacky mini-games. But after multiple sequels, including a string of terrible parties and lengthy transitions between activities, the novelty of playing a digital board game wore off for me.
