This is the story of a videogame. Like all games, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom started as a single concept, a blur of inspirations and ideas waiting to be realized into a playable product. This particular concept sprang from the mind of Matthew Korba, a master's student in the Interactive Media Division at the University of Southern California. Between class, internships, work, and the little time left over that might be considered a personal life, Korba thought about his concept, always wondering how it might play as the core of a game. The concept: What if you could alter time and interact with your past, present, and future selves? Confusing, maybe, but Korba felt he had something and continued holding onto it through his three years at USC.
