hopefully it will come to the PS4 also.

The Tunein Radio app was already announced for PS4 at Gamescom back in August:

That's just a picture, I never saw any gaming sites actually cover the news/release of the app as coming to PS4.

FamilyGuy4223d ago (Edited 4223d ago )

The app is already out on PS3, it came out last week.
This is a PS4 announcement and it's a very welcomed one. Never noticed its icon in that banner before.

Hopefully we can use it like music unlimited and have it play in the background while we game. It's not great (being that it's radio) but it's better than nothing and they have a huge list of stations.

garos824222d ago (Edited 4222d ago )

Where do you find it to install the app.checked the position store under "apps"and it's not showing up.

Note I'm in UK region

Edit: checked again, it's under the "music"tab in the store.

FamilyGuy4222d ago

Yeah, I actually found it on the "all new releases" tab during the week it released.

bub164223d ago

can it be used for in game music?

JordanBlack684223d ago

Yeah, I would have this for in game music

garos824223d ago

I love tune in.use it almost daily on my tablet and I'm always discovering cool stations around the globe.it would be awesome to use this instead of music unlimited to have background music on games

Here's hoping

Overall great deals for everyone I guess.

For me personally though:

• "players who join PlayStation Plus during this year’s celebration can save up to 33% on select 12-month memberships."

• "players who are currently a PlayStation Plus Essential or Extra member, save 33% on the remainder of your membership when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe."

Ehhh ... Days of Play last until 11th. My subscription expires June, 14th.

I literally am laughing at me rn.

DivineHand1252h ago

If Sony allowed subscriptions to be sold by third party sellers like they did in the PS4 days, you would not have this problem.

VersusDMC1h ago

That's why everyone should get their subscriptions now as last years days of play was may 29 to 12th of june. Mine is expiring on the 7th so i will just get essential or possibly extra this year.

And you can atleast get 15 days of extra or premium at 33% off to try it out.

P_Bomb6h ago(Edited 6h ago)

Will see about getting my kid a cheaper PS Plus sub so he can backup and transfer his saves again. Really wish that was free ala XB.

Hopefully Destiny 2 The Final Shape comes with a free gear level upgrade like last year’s PS Plus offering. To bring you up to speed with all the content and everyone else. I still need to do a Nightfall Strike on Grandmaster difficulty, but ain’t got time to grind.

More like Days of Meh.... no specialized controllers or systems like in 2018 and 2019.

Eonjay5h ago(Edited 5h ago)

I mean it feels like you are forcing yourself to be negative here. Those are some really decent deals tbh. Also, everyone thought PS5 would go up to match Xbox so going down is a nice surprise too.

Eonjay4h ago

They did not confirm price increases. That is a lie.

If you really beleived what you are saying why do you have to keep making alts to say it?

None of those deals are of any great consequence to me. I was hoping they would bring back the special themed hardware after a 5 year break. They had it in 2018 and 19 and nothing for 20-24. 25 could have been the year to bring it back.

Boy, that's a real strange and specific goal post to have.

raWfodog2h ago(Edited 2h ago)

To be clear, what are you referring to when you say 'specialized'? Just wanted to know if you had a different take on these controller and system deals.

Deals on PS5 console offerings include:

In the United States and Canada, PlayStation 5 console – Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Bundle (Digital and Standard) will be available starting at $399.99 USD / $509.99 CAD (Save up to $119.99 USD / $159.99 CAD compared to buying separately).
In select regions such as Europe and Asia, PlayStation 5 console (Digital and Standard) will be on promotion, starting at €399.99 / £339.99 / ¥65,980.
$50 USD off PlayStation 5 Pro console

There will also be offers for PS5 accessories and games, including:

$50 USD off PlayStation VR2 and PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle
$30 USD off Pulse Explore wireless earbuds
$30 USD off DualSense Edge wireless controller
$20 USD off Access controller
$20 USD off DualSense wireless controller

Both DoP 2018 and 19 had special themed PS4 slim. I have both and while they did not do them again in 20-24.... I was hoping they would bring it back in 25 with a special themed PS5 slim or even Pro.

repsahj4h ago

This is their way to counter Nintendo Switch 2 launch week. I might get the discounted annual premium subs, but I think the game lineup is weak.

No one gives a crap about Starfield in 2025. I mean seriously, has anyone remembered this game even exists? Lmao

Alos883h ago

They really aren't. Nothing in Starfield is nearly as iconic as anything from Fallout.
