It seems there are more commercials and ads for Battlefield 4 than Call of Duty: Ghosts. Is this an example of the much-talked-about CoD fatigue?
DICE/EA showing Activision up, I like it! even though I hate EA.
Having a hard time understanding how Battlefield getting advertised more equates to COD-fatigue. Its obvious why Battlefield is being pushed more......well at least I think it should be obvious.
I've always been into COD but I have to say the BF4 marketing campaign has me interested in buying it on day one.
No COD is being promoted EVERYWHERE. Even in places you wouldn't expect. I've seen Battlefield promoted on YouTube, Xbox live dashboard & every gaming magazine. I haven't seen it promoted anywhere else. COD definitely goes after the casual crowd. After watching the USA vs Europe earlier today, I was really impressed. They should do more advertising though. Maybe have a trailer at the movies. Just branch out everywhere.
Good games promote themselves. DICE is just giving Battlefield a little help this time around.
Battlefield needs the exposure, CoD sells on the name alone and needs no introduction.
