Rockstar explains the tech behind GTA4, with new screens - 1UP

...Well for the Next-Gen Machine that is the PS3 we had SOOOOOOO much space on the
Blu-ray(Thanks Sir KEN!!!) ;-D to do what we wanted to do(But we had to stop because we had to use the Last-Gen DVD(VHS) Technology that is in the xBox 360!!!) ;-D

Just be happy its able to run along side the 360 version although it has an paint brush visual limitation like Uncharted. Wonder what proccessing fuctions they removed trying to bring the PS3 version up to par with the 360 version durring delay PS3 caused.

Um? POG your limited comprehension makes me break out in laughter, they said there is a softness without making it blurry.

Rockstar and IGN both prefer the PS3 version for graphics? I love how Xbot's try to spin news for damage control, don't worry 6 months down the line you guys get some news cars and missions and junk lmfao, retard.

PS3 is holding back 360 multi platform games they all suffer at the hands of PS3 and PS3 versions are often lackluster. lol They're hiding PS3 flaws knowing it would hurt their REP at the 360's expense knowing we will get over it as PS3 fans can not.

I'll tell you what they removed, nothing to do with getting it on par with the 360 version, it's the realistic animations, indirect lightning, processing geometry (KZ2 is doing this), certain shaders and such thanks to the Cell and that the 360 just cannot do, face it, multiplatform developers can't use the specs of the more powerful system (PS3) just for the sake that the 360 won't be able to handle it, now give me a 360 game that looks on par with the KZ2 gameplay, because I've yet to see one, considering with all the available development tools for the 360. The PS3 dev tools were crappier and still are I think for 3rd party developers but it's achieving great results already.

You can come up with stuff all you want, you just don't take into account that the PS3 is just better, multiplatform games doesn't mean crap, as most of them were ported to PS3. Plus I can say the same for the Bully game a port from PS2 to 360 and the 360 version has choppy frame rate and sound.
