update: i just saw some comparison pics......yeah they are further apart than i first thought. ps4 got this battle hands down. check out riderz1337 comparison pics, they showed the differnce.

The X1 version is so dark you can't even make out some of the textures. That is quite crazy. Also notice the subtle difference in the HUD's. I think these are two different builds, the PS4 version being closer to the final PC build.

And the textures on Irish's face are far too harsh on the X1 version mainly down to the strong blacks. The more I see the bigger the PS4's advantage gets. It is subtle sure, but if you have gamed on PC at any time in the last 4 years the difference is obvious.

Dude stop it I am now 100% postive everyone is drinking the PS4 hype kool Aid. How I was watching the DF comparison video and my cousin who doesn't play games walked up be hind me with out me knowing and his first words were "I don't see a difference". but of course you sony fans are brained washed, and want admit the truth any ways. there is no big difference so stop saying it is.

the photos looked doctored like what you would see thru some type of filter. There would be no reason to do that across platforms.

only you can see small differences in technical videos, but the fanboys think they have differences just because yes

Difference is night and day tbh when it comes to the AA. In my experience the single player mostly looks better than the multiplayer.

That ps4 multiplayer footage is outstripping the x1 single player footage. For those that can't are that are blind to the difference go to digital foundry and educate yourselves on what the differences actually are.

These are supposedly next gen machines people you are being charged more for your games now Ten pounds more that a fact. Time to start looking for value for your money.

far as i can tell PS4 is the only console dishing out value atm. For what xbox is charging they seem to be lagging behind quite abit.

How come this 720p looks better than any console shooter I have seen so far? I am confused.

Because resolution doesn't mean anything compared to texture detail, facial animation, dynamic lighting, particle effects, for example, this game is running at 720p, yet looks WAY better than AC4, which has a resolution of 1080p on xbox1 and ps4.

better resolution influence the distance you play, not influence the graphical visual

All that shimmering from the aliasing is distracting. I definitely hated that on the PS3 version of BF3.

Just saw the PS$ multiplayer footage and to be honest, it looks better! There's way less shimmering on the PS4 and more detail from a far "very important to spot snipers and campers!" Better anisotropic filtering!
