Football Manager 2014 Review | TheGameJar

Joey Dale - "I should probably start the review by making two assumptions: 1. if you’re here reading this you’re probably a fan of football and 2. you have more than likely played a Football Manager game in the past two or three years. The reason for me working under that assumption is that I don’t really need to explain in finer detail exactly what Football Manager is (plus it does a pretty good job of doing that in the title!).

With that out the way we can get on to talking about Football Manager 2014, the game that devours countless hours of hungry football fans’ time whilst, for the most part, being a ‘pretty looking spreadsheet’. I always find it quite difficult to review a game that has a yearly iteration, especially when I have played the previous year’s version, but luckily for me I hadn’t touched FM13 and the last version I really invested time in was FM11."
