Think of the people who remember when their families got their first B&W TV set. Compared to them we're still young enough to pop a wheelie in 250 going the wrong way on the interstate.

Oh yeah? How did this gen turn out for PS3 competing against the Wii, or even against the 360?

AHHHHH I remember getting my PS1. My life was officially complete once I got Final Fantasy 7. The good old days of being a kid.

Yep, I have similar memories though it was of misbehaving the night we got FF8 and I had to sneak down stairs to play it. Ah, irreplaceable memories.

Clearing out a cupboard a few days back I found my PSone buried at the back. I don't think I have seen it for over 10+ years it was quite emotional!

I even had the portable display for it at one point, god knows where that is now :)

Two things have made me feel old today:

1. I overheard someone referring to a 1998 movie as "soooo old".

2. Reading this title and realizing the PSone came out 18 years ago.

Ah 1995 was a good year for me. I got my PlayStation, I went to Disney World Florida and I grew some pubes.

MadMen2525d ago

1995 and PS1, the best system ever, changed my life.

Here is to getting old and still being a gamer.

abradley2524d ago

Agreed, not many consoles have had such an effect on the entire industry.

Far out it has been 18 years already! I love Sony and can't wait for the PS4 :)
