GameTap: The Chronicles of Narnia Preview

Prince Caspian has some interesting challenges ahead of him. Not only does he have to save Narnia from an evil tyrant inside the Nintendo DS; he also has to lead the charge for DGamer, Disney's new online community for kids. Such are the responsibilities of leadership.

But when you're working with an intellectual property that has been a mainstay of English literary tradition for almost 60 years, is about to be released as a major motion picture, and is simultaneously receiving console video game treatment, how's a DS version supposed to carve a niche for itself? With Traveller's Tales taking the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii versions of Prince Caspian down the action-adventure gaming path, DS developer Fall Line decided to turn the handheld game into an action RPG.
