Microsoft: Multiplayer between Xbox One and 360 Not Supported

Any hopes of Xbox One players playing against Xbox 360 players in cross gen online games have been crushed thanks to a quietly placed asterisk. Microsoft has launched a "Get the facts" campaign for the Xbox One on xbox.com, if you scroll to the end and read asterisk #3 it states, "Multiplayer between Xbox 360 and Xbox One not supported." So there you go, even if it is somehow possible to make cross gen online play work, Microsoft will not be supporting it.
