"One of the Worst Launches Ever?"

Its not fair to ONLY say that without also saying "the biggest MP launch of all time".

GarrusVakarian4229d ago (Edited 4229d ago )

Don't get me wrong though, i will criticize R* when it comes to them wasting 2 weeks in between SP and MP for absolutely nothing.

stavrami4229d ago

woooah there it was just an observation ;-)) don't get your knickers in a twist

Pogmathoin4229d ago

Luckily had no issues yet, and getting $500,000!!! But its not real... thats my only beef! :)

spektical4229d ago

meh, a failed launch is a failed launch. Rockstar and Take 2 arent stupid, they had estimates on the amount of potential users. And if they didnt, thats just another failure.

Online is great, i love it, but im currently busy with pokemon, ha

GarrusVakarian4229d ago

I respectfully disagree. A company that isn't known as a MP focused company, breaking record numbers beating Call Of Duty? How can any company prepare for that?

Although again i will stress, what the hell was that 2 week gap actually for?

finbars754229d ago

I disagree with the worst launch.what about Sims. From what I have read and seen it was just unplayable period.

Well said. The Launch had its problems but the game is up and running. Of course there were trafficking problems with so many people trying to get online at once. But the online works and is doing well. Rockstar, in response to the problems that did occur are giving out $500,000 in game money to every player.

GTAO was announced long after GTAV was, which, to me, means that it is a bonus. Many people prebought GTAV without knowing about GTAO. Many would have been content with just the SP.

GTA4 had online 5 years ago, why wouldn't GTA5? Its the stupidest thing i ever heard in my life its 2013, stop making excuses for them. The launch is still a disaster, my friends hasn't been able to connect to this day, and there's no excuses for this... You can sugarcoat a piece of shit but its still going to taste like shit if you eat it.

4.for someone who can spell you sure have not got common sense "dicktionary"

GarrusVakarian4229d ago (Edited 4229d ago )

And if i do, how does this impact your life? Focus on your own life and carry on :)

Its YOU'RE, btw.

Edit: Im not getting my "knickers" in a twist, gaming is my passion and this is a gaming website, so what if i post a lot? People should mind their own business. Especially when it doesn't impact you in the slightest.

Edit 2: Lol, "dicktionary".

I haven't even tried mp yet
I hear good things and bad things

I think I'm done with GTA. SP was fun, but I beat the main story and don't feel particularly motivated to mess around with the various side missions. Online just kind of sucks. I gave it a fair try (rank 11), but it's too boring and too much of a technical mess.
