meh, a failed launch is a failed launch. Rockstar and Take 2 arent stupid, they had estimates on the amount of potential users. And if they didnt, thats just another failure.

Well said. The Launch had its problems but the game is up and running. Of course there were trafficking problems with so many people trying to get online at once. But the online works and is doing well. Rockstar, in response to the problems that did occur are giving out $500,000 in game money to every player.

GTAO was announced long after GTAV was, which, to me, means that it is a bonus. Many people prebought GTAV without knowing about GTAO. Many would have been content with just the SP.

GTA4 had online 5 years ago, why wouldn't GTA5? Its the stupidest thing i ever heard in my life its 2013, stop making excuses for them. The launch is still a disaster, my friends hasn't been able to connect to this day, and there's no excuses for this... You can sugarcoat a piece of shit but its still going to taste like shit if you eat it.

I think I'm done with GTA. SP was fun, but I beat the main story and don't feel particularly motivated to mess around with the various side missions. Online just kind of sucks. I gave it a fair try (rank 11), but it's too boring and too much of a technical mess.

When big online games launches the servers are getting a beating of a lifetime. There are almost no online games that work as they should on launch day or in the initial launch period.

I am thinking about big games like Diablo 3, Sim City and almost every mmorpg game that has launched since the start of the genera.

This is a phenomena that at least PC gamers are used to, its no chock that there are moderate to big problems in the launch window.

No one are chocked about it, it's sadly just how it is. So when a console game of this magnitude gets a online part and people make articles like this..

@thevideogamher run out of bubbles . when the 1st list of day 1 games came out i went and pre ordered . i had watchdogs , diablo 3, AC4 and was looking forward to drive club ps + in fact if there was not a ps plus version i would of bought it . now obviously i only have 1 game at launch . don't get me wrong in February onwards there's loads coming out that i want . as for the rest of day 1 its pretty much fps or sports heavy . although i will get disagreed for what i am about to say but i so not go near f2p and as for indies other than octodad i have absolutely zero interest.

Cloud servers are not saving.

Blowing up one personal car makes you a bad sport and can't play with your friends.

I'm level 19 now and it's boring as hell for me. It's so repetitive feeling. Often times the cities are dead ( no cars and no people walking around ). Playing online with strangers is a joke. They will troll you 9 times out of 10. Then comes the shit talking on mics. The races are a joke, more like bumper cars to knock you off the road to crash. Thus wasting your time. The mix of all levels is a joke. Higher level = better weapons and better body armor along with skill stats. So you lose a lot more, more so shoot outs. The auto aim this game has is just fricken sad. You get hit no matter what, even driving away at some 500 yards out.... But AI and live players have it. I could go on and on about this game. No hate, just how it is and how is works. The Star system can sometimes be a joke. You get away and hide knowing no way they can find you. Yet some time later they do... like how as you were very very well hidden far away from the crime scene. Just a lot of things you'll notice.

Oh and the weapons unlock.... level 24 just to get your first assault rifle? Way way way to long for that. So you are stuck with a SMG mini and later on a SMG for awhile when starting out..... like a while while.

I don't care if you disagree. Learn to be honest with what you are playing. The game has pops ups often in graphics. You can literally see cars drop in.

Tried about a dozen times and have given up trying to play.

GTA 5 was a disappointment overall for me. Marketplace is a gimmick, skills change nothing (flying for example makes NO difference), unenterable buildings, terrible graphics overall with no AA and blurry textures everywhere, story is hard to follow as you jump between characters etc.

And now the online is a joke.

I'm not even looking forward to getting online, as everyone I know that plays online says "Nobody does anything except kill each other. It's boring, and being able to see everyone's location ruins it."
