Paul of RealGamerNewz writes, "Once you're into the concept of a NASCAR racing simulator that allows pocket-play at any time, the title fits well in your iPhone and is completely worth the low price it's being charged. NASCAR Redline gives you a quick play on an interactive action piece for the true NASCAR fans out there. If you aren't a fan of the franchise, you can still appreciate a quick game of this with time to spare. Those who are looking for a full driving / racing NASCAR title on the iPhone 5 will currently be disappointed though, which is basically the only negative point of this title. For those who may have expected a different genre for NASCAR's first iOS installment, they will be met with an unfamiliar set of gameplay mechanics to the NASCAR IP."

By David: NASCAR is the ultimate fixture when it comes to racing, but translating it full blast into a video game can be a bit cumbersome. Who can actually sit through over forty laps of going around and around a course? With that, NASCAR: Redline puts players more on the sidelines than on the track itself, and NASCAR: Redline plays out more like a simulator than anything else. That doesn’t mean that this title is anything less enjoyable, however, as you will get addicted trying to improve your vehicle as well as your driving skills as you push your way to the top of the rankings. Do you have what it takes to drive alongside some of NASCAR’s racing greats, or will you just be eating their dust? Increase your chances of placing by reading through this guide.

"Possibly because NASCAR games don't enjoy the same popularity as other sports games, this title attempts to mix things up by turning a racing game into a simulation. But is that a good thing?"
