CP:Anybody who’s played the Mass Effect series will tell you just how important the storytelling was to the overall experience. And the man behind most of that rich storytelling was Mac Walters. When he’s not helping to sketch out the future for the Mass Effect series, he’s working on a 13-issue Dark Horse comic called Mass Effect: Foundation. We caught up with Mr. Walters at NY Comic-Con where he talked about everything from the relationship between the comics and the video games to even relating the controversial ending of Mass Effect 3 to that of Breaking Bad.
One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.
Mac Walters writes: "It’s hard to find the right words for this, but I wanted to share that we’ve made the very difficult decision to pause operations at Worlds Untold while we search for a new partner to help bring our vision to life. This was not a decision we made lightly—it’s been a deeply personal journey, and we’re all so proud of everything this team has built together."
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
