USA Preorders Chart, 5 October 2013 - Pokemon X / Y, Beyond: Two Souls

"There are two games in the top 40 to be in their final week: Pokémon X / Y (3DS) and Beyond: Two Souls (PS3).

Eight games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top 19 has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from 20 last week. One game added 20,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week and four added 10,000 or more, up from three last week.

Games in Final Week Before Launch:

Pokémon X / Y (3DS) added 43,461 pre-orders for a final total of 390,819. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 900,000 to 1,100,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 4.5 million and 5.5 million units.

-Pokémon Diamond / Pearl (DS, 2007) – 1,159,158 week one USA, 5,824,601 to date
-Pokémon Heart Gold / Soul Silver (DS, 2010) – 965,834 week one USA, 3,889,935 to date
-Pokémon Black / White (DS, 2011) – 1,893,150 week one USA, 4,941,384 to date
-Pokémon Black / White 2 (DS, 2012) – 638,138 week one USA, 2,035,891 to date

Beyond: Two Souls (PS3) added 15,078 pre-orders for a final total of 136,776. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 250,000 to 300,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 700,000 and 900,000 units.

-Heavy Rain (PS3, 2010) – 2194,468 week one USA, 1,028,566 to date

Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending October 12:

Grand Theft Auto V (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 400,000 units in its fourth week on sale. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 300,000 units.

NBA 2K14 (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 100,000 units in its second week on sale. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 75,000 units.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (WiiU) sales are expected to drop to around 60,000 units in its second week on sale.

Hardware and software sales are expected to increase several fold for the 3DS due to the release of Pokémon X / Y. Other platforms are expected to remain relatively flat."

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
