It isn’t quite last minute, but Konami has announced a delay for the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection from October 29th/31st to November 5th in North America and November 8th in Europe. As well, the price tag is now set at £29.99/$39.99, up $10 from the previous $29.99. - PSLS
To (presumably) help get everyone up to speed in preparation for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 , Konami has released Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection. This loaded bundle takes the original 2010 title, piles on both of the game’s premium DLC chapters, the recently released HD port Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD, and tops everything off with an exclusive playable demo of Lords of Shadow 2.
Metal Arcade: Jason Bakker writes:
Konami’s recently released Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection is an enticing package for those looking to brush up on the rebooted franchise before Lords of Shadow 2 drops in a few months. Combining the original Lords of Shadow game, its two DLCs Reverie and Ressurrection, the newly-released Mirror of Fate HD, and an exclusive demo of Lords of Shadow 2, this package is quite a bargain at $39.99. If you’re looking to catch up on Gabriel Belmont’s intriguing storyline on one system, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection is easily the best and most affordable way to do so.
BioGamer Girl states, "Castlevania Lords of Shadow Collection offers players a chance to own the original Castlevania Lords of Shadow, Resurrection and Reverie DLC, Castlevania Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD and gain exclusive access to the Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 demo. The collection is valued at $39.99, which could be more than some gamers would be willing to spend to play two games plus DLC, and the collection is not designed for players that already own some of the content contained in the package. Castlevania Lords of Shadow Collection is still a good value though that packs over $45 of content for a lower price, and the games contained in the collection are plenty of fun for fans of the Castlevania series and good games in general. Get your copy of Castlevania Lords of Shadow Collection today and prepare for the release of Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 early next year!"
Interesting decision.
it's just the first game with a DLC voucher. Not much of a collection if you can simply pay to download through PSN.
Collection is the wrong word. Should be more like a re-release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow with bonuses. I can always wait for it to go on sale before I pick up a copy
I think the price was right before, but now people won't pick it up.
*facepalm*
