Definitely will be buying a PC with this G-card inside. The GenAudio sound chip is beyond belief.

You would build your own gaming PC for less.

duplissi1836d ago

Yeah, a pc with this card inside is going to cost at least 2 grand, whereas you could build one for almost half that much.

Hmmm Major Nelson says the xbox one can do 4k gaming too. I wonder if there's a relation ;)

FrigidDARKNESS1837d ago

It's going to be awesome to have two gaming systems that does 4k native games.

If you go back to that thread i was responding to someone else comment they said "it takes two Nvidia Titans to do 4K games"

lifeisgamesok1837d ago

Yeah it's a long shot for 4k but I wouldn't doubt if Xbox One has VI tech in it. Microsoft created one of the most popular API for getting the most performance out of hardware with directx

The_KELRaTH1837d ago

Xbox One and PS4 are starting with games like BF4 not even able to handle 1080p 60fps so, and much like PS3/360 and FHD, there will be lots of noise for 4K support but in reality it will end up being for those 2D games.

ufo8mycat1837d ago

These next-gen consoles are struggling to hit 1080p

Sure maybe Minecraft @ 4k.

Hell, you need a NVIDIA Titan to play at 4k, and I don't even think thats enough for 60fps+ with maxed out graphical settings.

And with games becoming more and more graphically intensive - you will require 2x Titans to game @ 4k 60fps+ with maxed out settings.

WarThunder1837d ago (Edited 1837d ago )

You need a AMD HD7990 to play 4k with stable frame rate.
And btw HD7990 cost $400 less than the titan ;)

HD7990 beats the shit out of the Titan with way less money.

AMD HD7990 is a pretty old card and its available in stores

ufo8mycat1837d ago (Edited 1837d ago )

You are better off future proofing your system then buying that.

Don't expect that to cut it in the future.

HD7990 @ 4k with Crysis 3?
Is that with MAXED OUT settings and MINIMUM 60fps?
I find that very very hard to believe.

AMD 290x or maybe crossfire them

Magicite1836d ago

4 Titans needed to play metro last light maxed at 4k. Its been proven by tomshardware.

DomceM1836d ago

consoles arent even running games like bf4 in 1080p and you are talking about 4k?

You need a reality check.

duplissi1836d ago

nope... if a 5.6 Teraflop gpu (R9 290X) and a 4.9 Teraflop gpu (GTX Titan) are whats needed then do you really think a 1.3 Teraflop gpu(Xbox One)can pull it off? lol the main menu, maybe.

I dont understand how some of you think the ps4/XBone will just blow you away with 4k gaming, when they are barely doing 1080p without problems.

I need to get into marketing.

AnteCash1837d ago

Well whatever you are sellin FrigidDARKNESS is buyin.
