....they are saying this after only seeing some bullshots.
Wait till they release vids....

ryan4614273d ago

agreed. nonetheless looks similar to crysis 3 and project cars level of detail and effects. so certainly possible.

Software_Lover4273d ago

Bullshots rule the world........... just look at the screenshot battle between Forza 5, GT6, and Driveclub. It will soon be the hottest article/blog on N4G.

ShinMaster4272d ago (Edited 4272d ago )

That's more of a teaser trailer. He's asking for real-time/in-game footage.

That's a crazy amount of fog with post color grading, though. It'll be interesting to see other games/devs replicate that look. It doesn't seem impossible.

MadLad4273d ago

No bullshots.
Just proper PC tech doing it's thing.

ProjectVulcan4273d ago

Its been submitted to Steam Greenlight so wait until thats actually gone through, and they will show gameplay end of this month (28th to be precise).

People seem to forget that this game probably wouldn't be available for a year or more even if its greenlit there.

So the engine is perfectly realistic within PC technology of the next year or so.

The fastest single GPU in the world has 3x the performance of PS4 and its out next week.

By the time this game arrives that kind of performance will be pretty common and not too expensive for PC gamers.

MadLad4273d ago

God bless PC gaming.
If you have the cash . . . it's a good place to be.

ShinMaster4272d ago (Edited 4272d ago )

"*if you have the cash" is the biggest asterisk in the world of PC gaming.

@ vulcanproject
"The fastest single GPU in the world has 3x the performance of PS4"
It's also a lot more expensive than the PS4, which is an complete gaming system, not just a GPU.

Bolts4272d ago

It's also a system that can't consistently do 1080p.

This is what "next gen" games should look like.

Kleptic4272d ago (Edited 4272d ago )

not just visually, at least if the description is accurate...

its a co-op game you play...by yourself...through time travel...

by far the most interesting thing i've heard in a long time...

Bolts4272d ago (Edited 4272d ago )

I agree. Most PC games haven't reach this level yet, more often than not they're nothing more than upgraded ports with more texture resolutions and effects.

IIZANGETSUII4273d ago (Edited 4273d ago )

Heres a 1080p video, looks good http://www.youtube.com/watc... of course we have to see some gameplay but so far in the graphcis deparment if this is under some kind of engine looks pretty good to me

Shame consoles are just going to get inundated with shooters and triple-A garbage, and not amazing stuff like this. Sure they're getting The Witness, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, and Rime, but they'll be few and far between with the overwhelming amounts of blockbuster crapfests.

KiRBY30004273d ago

well, in all fairness, not every studio can make such graphics, especially small teams. so you cant really blame it all on console manufacturers.

dcj05244273d ago

So far the only triple aaa garbage i see are COD, the usual fifa/live and possibly assassins creed ( A.I looks weak). Everything else looks pretty decent:The division, Destiny, the countless quality indie titles ( most are on pc too though) Battlefield, Killzone:Shadow fall, Dead Rising 3, iNFAMOUS Second son, The Crew, Knack, DriveClub, Mirror's Edge and Starwars battlefront. Just off the top of my head. Looks good to me. I don't see in generic shoot em bro-shooter up aaa garbage in that list. Maybe I'm too optimistic.

Qrphe4273d ago

We have no guarantee that Reset will be actually a good game (and to be fair, same applies to those mentioned). It's not like PC gaming has been getting saturated with a lot of lazily done indie garbage.

DigitalRaptor4273d ago (Edited 4273d ago )

So far I've seen more unique and creative indie titles than I have AAA blockbuster "crapfests". There's no guarantee of anything, and I'm sure you were never expecting to Everybody's Gone to the Rapture on console, let alone exclusively.

I think the petty consoles will surprise you.

This game does look absolutely phenomenal though. Really looking forward to it - hope the minimum specs aren't too ridiculous.

Yep, the harsh reality of indie game development...

Kabaneri2492d ago

I feel like Epic has been dropping the ball since the start of Season 5.

popopdc2492d ago

This is old news from August 20th...

They're trying to hide the blockbuster skin I think, so it doesn't leak a week before
