BT - "Before I begin, let me share an anecdote. Six years ago, I was taking a break from my public speaking course to browse the new DS games at Gamestop. As I perused the various RPGs that graced the retailers racks, I happened upon Etrian Odyssey. The game had just come out and its old-fashioned gameplay style made it stand out from the puzzle and brain improvement games that surrounded it. It seemed strange and mysterious and it called to my love of adventure."
Back in 2007, Atlus decided to use the Nintendo DS to do something ambitious. It brought back the days of first-person RPGs with original party members you had to customize and dungeons you needed to map. Thanks to the handheld's design, the bottom screen allowed people to practice cartography as they played. Since then, 10 games have been released, each bringing something new to adventurers.
An opinion piece about Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl Story. No holding back. This is pure personal opinion and hence objectively and utterly irrefutable proof that the game is worthy of a good old rant by our Senior Rant-Expert, Koola.
A number of big-name Atlus titles are down to $15 each from now until January 19th. To name a few: Shin Megami Tensei IV, Etrian Odyssey Untold, and Conception II.
SMT is under $15 at GameStop. Learn to sale, developers. Nobody wants to pay that much for digital when you can get a hard copy cheaper or at the same price. Give us an incentive to buy, bonuses or something if all you're gonna do is match the price.
Used games are a factor they must consider. Either break down the price during a sale or lose a sale, your choice.
