While we wait for Mario Kart 8 fans of racing games gender may experience some alternatives that are being launched as TNT Racers - Nitro Edition Machines. This title is as good as Mario Kart Nintendo? Of course not, but well worth what we paid for it. Although not a karting game like Mario Kart, is similar to the Mario Kart series with its use of the item, color tones, general action of the races and all the other elements that Nintendo practically invented.
Nintendo systems are no strangers to fun racing games. While Mario Kart 8 may not be out for several months, perhaps the recent addition of TNT Racers – Nitro Machines Edition to the Nintendo Wii U eShop might help fill the void left in our hearts. But is it worth your time and money?
In 2012, TNT Racers appeared on the WiiWare Shop, and while it was a virtually unknown game, it sold pretty well. Imagine the NES classic RC Pro Am, mixed with the fast combat action of Mario Kart, and you get an idea of what to expect here.
