Mike Deneen from Gamewoof gets to chat with Daniel Witenberg, Product Development Director and Fred White, Director of Tactics for Sleepy Giant, the team behind the Kickstarter project Comic ConQuest.
Joanna Mueller writes: "Roughly two years ago the game's planned release date came and went. Inexplicably, Sleepy Giant seemed to have vanished, their formerly active social media accounts going silent. After the missed release date the devs made one last backers only update, presumably, based on backer comments, explaining that the project was going to be canceled and that everyone should request refunds at that point. Those who hadn't officially backed the game never received any explanation for the game's sudden ghost act. So, what happened?"

Comic Conventions are hugely popular nowadays, just take a look at the thousands of people who show up to the holy grail of Comic Con. So, it is not a surprise that eventually a game would use that as a tongue in cheek theme. And that is exactly what Sleepy Giant did with their upcoming game (if it gets funded) called Comic ConQuest. Sleepy Giant even specifically says that Comic ConQuest is a lighthearted take on the comic con awesomeness.
