I really hopes he gets cured from cancer.

Timesplitter144246d ago

I remember this conference (from the picture) even today. It was the stuff of legends

nukeitall4246d ago

The conference was so bad, it was good!

That said, I feel bad about making fun of this guy. Good luck and may the cancer get cured in 99 nights! :D

I meant that in the best possible way.

Being around two co workers and a family member that succesfully went through chemo and have cancer in remission, there is a good chance that he can win that battle. I hope and pray that you do because i dont wish death onto anyone.

Skate-AK4246d ago (Edited 4246d ago )

It all depends on what kind of cancer and what stage. My step dad had Stage 4 Lung Cancer when he got diagnosed. Even with chemo he didn't even make it a year....

abusador4246d ago

That goes without saying. Either way rip to your step dad.

TheOneWhoIsTornApart4246d ago

This is incredibly sad. I really hope something can be done about this. He seems optimistic so to me it seems like it is in it's early stages. I will most certainly be pulling for him.

The game decided to end its service and operations?

jznrpg14d ago

That’s one way to shift blame

I mean… it was pretty underwhelming. They basically slapped on that overused “neon remaster” aesthetic that a bunch of older revivals have leaned on, cranked up the speed a bit, and called it a day. No real innovation, no fresh ideas, just a faster, flashier version of something we’ve already seen.

Although I still hold a little grudge towards them not just because of their treatment of Kojima, but also the demise of Pro Evolution Soccer, I am happy Silent Hill performed so well.

Looking forward to Snake Eater Delta, although I am still not so sure if I'll buy it.

Abriael199d ago

Silent Hill 2 is not included in these results. It was released after September 31.

dveio199d ago

I know.

But I still was happy it performed well..

;)

Cacabunga199d ago (Edited 199d ago )

So glad they are back in the game!
Regarding kojima story no one will ever know the true fact.
The guy cannot be that easy to handle for sure.

dveio199d ago

Personally, I seriously believe that Kojima's actually the type of person you'd consider to be too good-natured - often to his disadvantage.

They need to bring back Castlevania , man how cool it would be to play in a full 3d castle on a scale of what SotN had , something with secrets, loops and items to find in every area .

OtterX199d ago

Yep! The Metroid Prime series showed that the Metroidvania style progression CAN work in 3D, it's just that Castlevania never hit the notes quite as right as Metroid Prime did. Souls games have integrated that Metroidvania-style progression also really nicely and shows what a Castlevania game could possibly look like in a well laid out, 3D world!

Miraak82 199d ago (Edited 199d ago )

I've always thought souls games are the closest we'll get to it but they don't have the integrated traversal with things like relics ( Double/long jumps, Transformations, Holy Symbol... ect ) that I really wanna see . Basically souls you'd just just find a switch, key, ladder or drop to a lower platform for 90% of the exploration but it's nothing like metroidvanias where you get to see your character progress as the tool to open the game further. I'm still hoping though ... even after 25+ years

OtterX199d ago

@Miraak82 Very true. Progression has never been item or ability based in Souls games, but it at least gives a good model of how it could be implemented. I sure hope they give Castlevania another 3D shot!

Pepsi_Man3000199d ago

I'm still hoping we'll see a new 3D castlevania. If metal gear and silent hill came back then hopefully a new castlevania, whether it be a remake or new game, is on the way

CrimsonWing69199d ago

Welcome back, baby. Don't f*ck it up, now.

Levii_92199d ago

Are people in the comments here serious?

It’s Konami dude. 😂😂

Miraak82 199d ago

There's always room for redemption, look a SE and Capcom ... most of what they put out in the ps3 and a part of the ps4 era was utter dogpoop but in the past 5 years they've been hitting it out of the park with some quality shit . Konami are responsible for some of the best gaming experiences I've ever had so discrediting them would be a disservice to gaming . It's not like they were putting out shit games , they just bailed from the gaming space all together ... I can't say the same thing for for alot of other companies

RedDevils198d ago

Most of the best PS1 and PS2 games are Konami.
