Nope not a coincidence. Sony and XSeed is trying to help push VK3 by giving away VK1 for free. I never played this game before. So I guess this is a good chance to get into the series.

I see everyone getting disagrees here, I guess some people are against getting free stuff. lol!

You do realize that SoulSercher620's question was rhetorical, right? It's pretty obvious that this was a lucky error for XSeed (as it gets hype for the game) or a planned move to hype VK3.

Thats the gist... Before Sony stated why it was free, this was either a planned move by XSeed or a lucky error that got them some attention.

Yeah, I lost my hard copy of P4G, so I'm gonna pick up the digital version Friday(pay day). I should probably grab a new card, as well, as I've got like 7 games on my PS3 that haven't even touched my Vita yet, and just deleted another 7 or so the other day.
