XFX: Non-Standard Version of Dual-GPU Radeon HD 7990

Video card manufacturers with the status of exclusive partners AMD, today is not so often mentioned in the press as the Radeon HD 7000 series came out much too “long-playing”. The situation promises to fix the upcoming announcement of graphics accelerators Volcanic Islands (28 nm), but for now, the public finally tiring of “Southern Islands”, in XFX decided to demonstrate the Radeon HD 7990 video card of their own design.

It honestly wouldn't hurt my feelings if that were the final design. That is a pretty cool looking card.

Another 7990 card seems rather pointless seeing that the new AMD line is about to launch. I bet 2 mid-range ($250?) Hawaii GPUs in Crossfire would out-perform a 7990 easily.

You have to think though; the 690 is still around even though the 700 series is out.

True. I've always found that to be weird considering that 2 770 SLI will get you better results for less $$$. Maybe the TDP is an issue? I don't know. You're right though.
