"Both Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 are offering new maps to players, but are the convoluted pricing strategies in the best interests of the consumer?"

A new Halo 3 mod turns the iconic Master Chief into a Pokémon % Master as functional Pokeballs come to the game.
That is very impressive to skip the article here is the direct link to the video

Full animiation then a code change to make the target that comes out of the ball to be in the same class unsc not a easy thing to do.
Everything you need to know about Modern Warfare III coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.
MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.
That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.
I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.
I prefer the halo 3 model. If they come out free, thats great for me, as I will get to play them. Those who want to play them early can pay...
yeah i've always held off on halo 3 maps. But i might buckle eventually on the cod4 ones, if they are never to go free.
I have no interest in buying the Halo 3 maps since Circuit City is giving them away with a Ninja Gaiden II pre-order. Yay for being cheap!
... I pay for maps is if they offer more to me as a player. I like how Warhawk includes new vehicles for the new maps, as well as options to use the new vehicles in the old maps.
One thing I have learned is that digital distribution is still being figured out. (more like groping in the dark actually) As the consumers in this new game, we have the power to shape the future of DLC. Companies like Bungie, MS and Activision are all watching what we do with DLC. If a majority are happy to buy it as soon as it comes out, then they will continue with that model.
I personally waited for the Halo 3 map pack to come out for free, no need to rush.
